Implementation of a Quality Management System, an Environmental Management System, and an Occupational health and Safety System at Indigo Contracting and receiving the ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment), and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Health & Safety) certifications.
Establishment of Indigo Transport passengers by Bus (Student Transportation Company). This involved understanding the owner’s requirements and setting out and create the entire cycle (from writing the Business plan to furnishing the office to dropping off the last student at home and successfully closing the year).
Implementation of an ERP system under Oracle 12cR1 (Phase 1 HR and Phase 2 Finance) thereby streamlining the processes, reducing cost, and increasing productivity across the organization.
Lead a talented team of business developers to implement a new Fraud Management System to sift through the millions of daily roaming calls and identify the fraudulent calls. This allowed a successful detection of millions of fraudulent calls on an annual basis.
Created a Business Excellence system based on EFQM thereby elevating the organization’s quality management to the next level.
Migration of Business Intelligence System from the existing Online/OLAP to Oracle 11gR2. This allowed us to redesign our processes utilizing an enhanced set of tools and optimized workflow.
Implementation of Business Intelligence Dashboard linking multiple independent system and generating live reports.
Implementation of MDM (Master Data Management) under Oracle 10g2. This was the first step towards an ERP solution utilizing ASAP Methodology.
Completed the implementation of the business unit transformation project migrating it from a business unit to an independent company. The two-year project involved evaluating, and retraining of all staff, redesigning all internal processes, and the establishment of a new organization.
Implementation of Disaster Recovery for all Services (Phase 2 of 2). The project completed the list of services to be redundant across Multiple data centers.
Award of ISO 27001:2005 certification at etisalat.
Implementation of Disaster Recovery for all Critical Services (Phase 1 of 2). All critical core services were hosted across multiple data centers.
Implementation of formation Security environment. The project involved reengineering the entire business flow from modifying the processes and procedures to instill the security mindset to the organization. VPN tunnels replaced all data transfer connections. For countries where VPN was not permitted, encrypted files were transmitted over sFTP.
Successful implementation of a specialized international Roaming billing system processing millions of dollars in roaming calls on a daily basis. Additional mobile features allowed the application to be transferred to the client for implementation on their mobile switch to add a secondary and independent monitoring of their roaming data. Within 2 years, this service was accountable for a sizable chunk of the Business Unit’s revenue.
Award of ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) for etisalat/EDCH. This was the fruit of our labor and was the first business unit within etisalat to receive this certification.
Successfully implemented a Quality Management System at etisalat/EDCH. This involved learning about the different types of QMSs and initiating the process of creating the documentation and training materials necessary to introduce the quality attitude to all staff. This was the pillar that brought all the other projects to light.
Successfully migrated all X.25 links (DECNIS/FTAM over X.25) to FTP over TCP/IP thereby increasing efficiency, eliminating bottlenecks, reducing file transfer time but mainly saving thousands in data transmission charges.
